Make.Sale is our annual holiday art and craft sale. You'll find loads of handmade goods from our tenants as well as a whole host of additional local artists who will set up shop for the weekend! This year we are once again partnering with our neighbors Icing on the Cake, Runaway Press & Cafe Velo, across the street to offer more vendors, goods, and activities than Make.Shift alone can hold! This year during Make Sale we're also asking folks to bring toilet paper and tampon donations for the Community Cupboard which serves low income families in Whatcom County. Toiletries and menstruation products are often overlooked during drives but are expensive and essential.

#GivingTuesday is just two weeks away! This year Make.Shift is inviting our amazing community to support us-- and the entire Bellingham arts community-- during the holiday season.
#GivingTuesday is a movement for an international day of charitable giving at the start of the holiday season, and this year it falls on Tuesday, December 3rd.
Make.Shift is looking to raise $5,000 this year towards maintaining and upgrading our community art space and radio station, KZAX 94.9.
“My second home. Open minded, risk taking, community based art gallery that strives on fulfilling entertainment. A place to be yourself.” — Aaron
As we move into 2020 with plans to expand our reach and add more educational programming now is a great time to show your support by making a donation or becoming a monthly contributor through our Patreon.

At Make.Shift Art Space, we strive to make our space an inclusive and accessible place for our community. Our front door ramp started out as a lovely DIY project, but now it is in need of an immediate upgrade. zWe are asking the community to help us raise funds to replace our ramp with something that is functional, durable, and safe.
We are thankful to all the folks who brought it to our attention that the ramp is unsafe and outdated. In the latest blizzard last year, we realized that the wear and tear has made the ramp slick in times of inclement weather. In an effort to ensure safety for all of our guests, we are asking the community to help us raise $2,000. This will cover the cost of a new ramp, and associated fees for shipping and installation.

#GivingTuesday is coming up soon! It’s a movement for an international day of charitable giving at the start of the holiday season, and this year it falls on Tuesday, December 3rd.
Make.Shift is looking to raise $5,000 this year towards maintaining and upgrading our community art space and radio station, KZAX 94.9.
Make.Shift is a 501 C3 nonprofit do-it-yourself art space, with four major programs: an art gallery, community radio station, an all-ages music venue, and affordable rental spaces used for band practice rooms and art studios. We’re proud to serve as a stepping stone for aspiring creatives into the professional world— whether that’s a first gallery show, a first gig or radio play, or a first internship or volunteership in the arts.
As we move into 2020 with plans to expand our reach and add more educational programming now is a great time to show your support by making a donation or becoming a monthly contributor through our Patreon.
Make to follow us on social media to keep up with all of our #GivingTuesday updates!
